What You’ll Do
* Development and selling of technically complex and sophisticated Modernization and Upgrade solutions for industrial steam turbines and gearboxes to worldwide industrial customers.
* Responsibility for the Internal Sales Process development, from the preparation of the quotation, through the internal approval process and customer negotiations, to the handover of the order to the project management team.
* Coordination of the specialist departments and project partners involved and ensuring internal reporting.
* Being responsible for the project pipeline in close collaboration with regional sales colleagues and colleagues on site.
* Participation in the continuous improvement of our portfolios and our processes.
What You Bring
* University degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable education.
* Several years of sales experience in Engineering and/or the field of service for industrial steam turbines or rotating equipment and relevant product and market knowledge; experience in water-steam cycle, plant peripherals or relevant industrial processes is an advantage.
* Proactive engagement with global trends such as decarbonization, digitalization, and globalization, driving innovation and continuous personal and business development.
* Business fluency in German and English, both written and spoken; other foreign languages are an advantage.
* Confidence in using MS Office and SAP and willingness to travel worldwide (approximately 10%-20% of working time).
* Open, proactive and respectful communication style for successful collaboration with key internal and external partners as well as goal-oriented and ability to work successfully in an international team.
