Macgregor Black are partnering with a Leading Toy Company on the search for a Key Account Manager. This is a permanent role based in Germany.
As the Key Account Manager, responsible for maximising business opportunities, managing risks, achieving profitability goals, building long-term business relationships, and consistently exceeding customer expectations within their assigned account portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver presentations, proposals, and marketing strategies tailored to client needs and timelines.
* Actively monitor project schedules and coordinate the timely delivery of all required materials and updates.
* Partner with internal teams to create accurate sales forecasts, revising them regularly based on market trends and performance data.
* Conduct periodic assessments of account performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet or exceed targets.
* Manage client budgets and ensure data systems are kept up to date with accurate financial information.
* Analyse market data and sales performance to identify growth opportunities and reduce risks.
* Maintain consistent communication with clients, addressing challenges and offering solutions promptly.
* Work collaboratively with team members to deliver high-quality service and meet client expectations.
* Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a cooperative and effective working environment.
What are we looking for?
* A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the CPG or Toy industry is preferred
* A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field with knowledge of the Toy Market
* Proven success in managing business portfolios with national retailers
* Experience in retail, either at the store level or in retail planning, is an asset
* Strong communication skills
* Customer-focused approach with a proactive, results-driven attitude
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and familiarity with SAP and Salesforce is a plus
* Excellent organisational, planning, and communication abilities
