<p><strong>Payments & Banking Tower Owner – Global S/4HANA Public Cloud Programme</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Germany</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Overview</strong></p><p>We are supporting a global enterprise undergoing a major finance transformation, expanding its new S/4HANA Public Cloud platform and seeking a Payments & Banking Tower Owner. This is a rare opportunity to own a global tower, not merely support one and shape how payments and banking processes operate across a multinational organisation.</p><p><br></p><p>You will serve as the global expert and design authority for the Payments & Banking domain, driving end to end solution ownership, influencing strategic direction, and leading a distributed team through a large scale, template driven rollout.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Own the global Payments & Banking tower across the S/4HANA Public Cloud platform.</li><li>Lead end to end solution design and configuration, including:</li><li>Electronic Bank Statement (EBS) setup</li><li>Payment file configuration</li><li>Banking interfaces and related integrations</li><li>Shape business cases and drive adoption across global entities.</li><li>Act as the primary point of expertise for payments and banking processes across the organisation.</li><li>Guide and coordinate a global team of functional consultants</li><li>Collaborate closely with the Platform Design Lead and wider finance design team (FP&A, Cost Accounting, AR, etc.).</li><li>Translate business requirements into scalable solutions and break down complex work for integrators (SAP, Conduent).</li><li>Support end users through a template driven rollout and ensure consistent global process adoption.</li><li>Contribute to the transition from private to public cloud as 25 additional entities onboard this year.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Role Structure & Ways of Working</strong></p><ul><li>Hands on leadership role: approx. 60% configuration/solutioning and 40% business process.</li><li>Operates within a matrix setup across multiple regions.</li><li>One region is already live and stabilised; further global rollouts are ongoing.</li><li>Hybrid working model: 1 day onsite per week for the first six months, then more flexible.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Required Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrated expertise in banking and payments processes.</li><li>Strong background in SAP Finance (FI) with hands on configuration skills.</li><li>Solid understanding of global finance processes and template driven rollouts.</li><li>Experience influencing stakeholders and challenging partners in a complex enterprise environment.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, able to translate requirements, simplify complexity, and guide global teams.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with S/4HANA Public Cloud.</li><li>Prior involvement in global finance transformation programmes.</li></ul><p><br></p>
