Vacancy Title: Fire Service Technician
Vacancy Location: Bremerhaven, Germany
Engagement Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary Range: €43,000 – €53,000 per year, depending on experience
The Role:
As a Fire Service Technician, you’ll play a vital role in protecting lives — inspecting, servicing, testing, commissioning, and repairing a wide range of fire safety and lifesaving systems across vessels, offshore installations, and industrial environments.
Working hands-on in dynamic environments, you’ll support the maintenance and compliance of portable fire extinguishers, fixed fire suppression systems, CO2 systems, foam systems, water mist systems, sprinkler systems, fire detection and alarm systems, emergency lighting, and breathing apparatus equipment. You’ll also assist with inspections of fire hydrants, hoses, monitors, gas detection systems, and other critical safety equipment to ensure they meet international marine and offshore safety standards.
This is a varied and rewarding role offering the opportunity to travel, work on different vessel types and offshore assets, develop specialist technical skills, and build a long-term career within a global leader in survival and fire safety solutions. No two days are the same — one day you could be servicing fire suppression systems onboard a vessel, the next supporting emergency system inspections in a workshop or offshore environment.
Key responsibilities for the Fire Service Technician role include but are not limited to:
1. Carry out preventive maintenance and safety inspections
2. Service & repair extinguishers, hydrants, hose reels, fire blankets, fire detection systems, and breathing apparatus

4. Safely transport, install, and return customer equipment
5. Keep accurate compliance records and documentation
6. Provide expert technical advice and customer support
7. Travel for training, offshore service, and urgent projects
You will have the opportunity to develop in your role and feel proud of the work you do. Working at Survitec is fast paced but incredibly rewarding.
This is not just another job; this is your career.
