As part of our internship programme, we are seeking an intern to join our Private Banking department. This opportunity is open for a minimum period of 6 months from September 2025.
Detailed description of the duties to be performed by the student trainee:
* We are looking for someone who can assist in producing risk reports and dashboards for ING Private Banking
* The ideal candidate will also participate in producing reports on the performance of different products offered by ING Private Banking
* Improving and optimizing our existing reporting system through simplification proposals is crucial to our success
* Additionally, the selected candidate will participate in various projects to develop new tools and reports that better cover ING Private Banking risks
Knowledge or skills developed by the trainee:
* This role will provide the opportunity to gain knowledge in several areas including financial risk, economics, financial markets, regulation, statistics, and IT tools
* The successful candidate will also develop analytical skills, initiative, responsiveness, teamwork as well as autonomy, and communication with internal clients
Your profile:
Knowledge and experience:
* A degree in economics, finance, or commerce (Bac +4/+5) is required
* Previous experience in a Bank will be considered an asset
* Familiarity with financial products and risk indicators is essential
Skills:
* Excellent communication skills, presentation, and discretion are required
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are necessary
* Proficiency in Excel including VBA and Python is mandatory
Languages:
* Mandatory oral and written proficiency in French and English. Knowledge of any other language is desirable.
