Shape the future of the next generation of NR+ microchips with us.We are looking for experienced RF IC Designers to strengthen our RF and Analog/Mixed-Signal team and help us develop state-of-the-art systems and beyond, based on FD-SOI technology. If you are passionate about designing cutting-edge circuits and want to contribute to a new class of wireless communication, this is the right place for you.
Your Responsibilities
* Design RF integrated circuits for wireless communication systems in deep sub-micron CMOS technology.
* Perform top-level simulations to validate and optimize design concepts.
* Collaborate closely with the layout team and run high-level simulations to verify and refine designs.
* Derive block-level specifications for analog and digital components.
* Conduct pre-tapeout verification including performance, power, reliability, and timing analyses.
* Define production and lab test plans for post-silicon characterization.
* Support lab teams in performing RF measurements for IP validation.
* Analyze ATE and lab test results, identify yield issues, and drive corrective actions.
* Work closely with the system team on integration, debugging, and design optimization.
* Present your results in design reviews and demonstrate compliance with specifications.
Your Profile
* Several years of experience in RF/Analog IC design from industry.
* Experience with modern CMOS process nodes (experience with 22FDX is a plus).
* Experience with the full RFIC product development lifecycle, from concept through high-volume production.
* Solid knowledge and tape-out experience with at least one of the following blocks:
o PA, LNA, mixers, oscillators, PLL, LO, VGA
* Strong command of analog design concepts (e.g., noise analysis, linearity, mismatch, stability).
* Experience in RF device modeling, noise parameters, inductance modeling, package effects, supply isolation, RF ESD structures, and RF-optimized layout.
* Familiarity with various RF transceiver architectures and calibration methods.
* Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre RF, EMX, or similar tools.
* Practical experience in silicon characterization, debugging, and translating system specifications into circuit requirements.
What We Offer
* Impact & Innovation: Join an agile, innovative start-up where you directly shape the development of a new wireless technology – non-cellular 5G for everyone .
* Responsibility & Growth: Permanent position with a high level of responsibility, short decision-making paths, and excellent development opportunities.
* Culture: Open, international, and collaborative team environment with flat hierarchies and room for your ideas.
* Benefits:
o attractive salary package and additional benefits
o Public transport job ticket or Job Bike (55 € monthly subsidy)
o Free use of the on-site gym
o Regular team events and a culture of trust and appreciation
* Location: Modern, bright office spaces in a central location in Dresden (near the main train station & TU Dresden) with excellent public transport connections.
