Legal Counsel/Senior Legal Counsel (m/f/d)
to join our legal team based in Munich. This role will provide legal support to our businesses in the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial judgment, a pragmatic mindset, and extensive legal expertise gained from both private practice and in-house roles.
What you'll do Provide clear, practical, and business-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts and legal documents Support development and implementation of internal legal policies, procedures, and systems Manage legal disputes and litigation Support corporate governance, compliance, and risk management activities Manage and coordinate external counsel as required Monitor legal developments and assess their impact on the business
What you'll bring Qualified lawyer admitted in Germany or the UK Minimum of 7 years’ post-admission legal experience, including at least 3 years of in-house experience Strong background in commercial and corporate law; additional expertise in compliance, regulatory, employment, or IP is a plus Fluent English required; German proficiency is highly preferred Experience working in an international or cross-border environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Commercially minded with the ability to balance legal risk and business objectives Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills High level of professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment
