The mission of the thermal systems business group is to develop and manufacture systems, modules and components to ensure thermal energy management of the power train and comfort for each passenger, during all phases of vehicle use. These systems help to significantly reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and other pollutants and harmful particles from vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. They also increase travel range and battery life for hybrid and electric vehicles. At the Front Office in Bietigheim-Bissingen we are supporting Sale- and Project activities and compose the interface between the customers Daimler and Valeo-internal departments at the development from Thermal Systems.
Tasks
* Building, testing and understanding of our automated parking systems
* Support with in vehicle or bench testing of automated parking functions.
* Discussions with internal interfaces to identify potential error sources
* Consolidation of analysis reports to our Test Engineers team
* Development of a tool/script for automated testing tools ( Support bench validation test automation)
Profile
* Enrolled students in automotive engineering, automation technology, electrical engineering, or a comparable degree program
* Good understanding of software development, C, C++, python programming languages
* Initial experience in ADAS is desirable (internship, working student, Formula Student)
* Understanding of system validation is an advantage
* Quick familiarization with complex topics.
* Reliability, initiative, flexibility, and organization
* Good communication skills
* Fluent English. German language skills are an advantage .
* Good analytical skills.
