Who we are
The mission has begun. We are proud to announce that we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp-up of our global headquarters for global cell production in our Battery Valley. The tasks and requirements of the company are diverse. Operations takes care of all production-related activities within battery cell production. Our tasks range from planning and construction to commissioning of the upcoming battery cell factories. In addition, the planning and implementation of operational functions such as logistics, quality, production and plant management is also an important part of the operational area.
Your role and key responsibilities
* Detailed planning of series lines for battery assembly and formation & aging production in our gigafactories from the first concepts to commissioning and handover
* Technical preparation for the purchase of equipment, e.g. requirement specifications, tenders, evaluations of offers and resulting decision templates
* Worldwide benchmarking of device manufacturers
* Continuous improvement of state-of-the-art processes to optimize product quality, minimize production costs and reduce emissions
* Corporate work in interdisciplinary teams
What you bring to the team
* Successfully completed studies in process/chemical/mechanical engineering or comparable training
* Several years of experience in plant design, preferably with regard to battery cells
* In-depth knowledge of battery cell production processes and associated equipment
* Willingness to travel nationally and internationally, including long-term assignments abroad
* High cost awareness, negotiation skills and assertiveness
* Above-average communication skills and ability to work in a team
* Fluent in English
