Your role We are looking for a hands-on Finance & Controlling Manager (m/f/d) to strengthen our finance function in a growing deep-tech SaaS environment. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will support operational accounting, budgeting, reporting, and liquidity management. Over time, you will gradually take on increasing ownership within the finance function. This role is designed as a full-time job with a clear development path toward broader financial responsibility. You will work with DATEV (SKR04) and Finway, gaining full exposure across accounting, reporting, and financial planning. Your responsibilities Accounting & Financial Operations Pre-accounting and invoice workflows in Finway Coordination with external accounting in DATEV (SKR04) Accounts receivable management (invoicing, payment tracking) Support monthly and annual financial statements (HGB) Support revenue recognition and accrual topics (SaaS subscriptions, milestone-based projects) Controlling & Budgeting Support and progressively take ownership of the annual budget process Prepare actual vs. budget analyses Contribute to rolling forecast updates Support business plan updates Reporting & Liquidity Prepare monthly management reporting Support liquidity planning and cash flow monitoring Ensure consistency between accounting data and reporting models Your profile Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Controlling 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting and/or controlling Solid knowledge of HGB Experience with DATEV; Finway experience is a plus Strong Excel skills Interest in financial steering and SaaS business models Structured and reliable working style Growth mindset and willingness to take increasing responsibility Flexibility to support other units in urgent need True startup mindset; hands-on, driven, resilient.
