What you can expect
* Support and maintenance of engineering applications such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD and EPLAN, Cideon Conversion Engine
* Ensuring stable and efficient operation including license management
* Integration of the engineering tools into the SAP PLM platform using SAP ECTR (Engineering Control Center)
* Technical support for users and implementation of system configurations and software updates
* Planning and implementation of upgrades, patches and migrations
* Collaboration with engineering and IT teams to optimize workflows and data exchange
* Monitoring system performance and compliance with security and IT standards
* Documenting system configurations and processes and carrying out user training
What you bring with you
* Completed studies or training in the field of (business) informatics or comparable qualification (e.g. IT specialist for system integration)
* Several years of experience as a system administrator or IT support specialist in the field of CAD/CAM or engineering applications
* Sound knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD, EPLAN and ECTR or comparable PLM/PDM systems
* Experience with software licensing, network configurations and integration processes
* Ability to analyze errors and optimize performance
* Good understanding of IT security, data management and backup strategies
* Confident handling of Microsoft 365
* Strong communication skills, proactive way of working and team orientation
* Good written and spoken German and English skills
