In flexible working models and teams, we deliver sustainable technology solutions to meet the energy challenges of tomorrow.Our Senior Solution Architect Identity & Access Management (f / m / d) (Digital Solutions | Future Energy Home) develops and operates software to manage home energy devices such as photovoltaic systems, inverters, batteries, EV charging stations, heat pumps, and meters as a cloud-based solution for our central and local units, enabling them to rollout these solutions to end-customers. We integrate with numerous vendors’ devices and apply centralized insights, analytics, and control mechanisms for these devices.At E.ON, diversity matters. You can work from Hannover, Hamburg, Berlin, München, Würzburg, Essen, Frankfurt am Main, or from home.Meaningful & challenging - Your tasksDesign and ensure proper Solution Architecture of our Future Energy Home IT platform and product portfolio, with a focus on Identity & Access Management (IAM).Analyze and evaluate business and IT requirements from the Product Owner to translate them into meaningful technical designs for one or more agile feature teams.Create overall recommendations and conduct PoCs to improve the architecture of our platform and product portfolio.Take care from conception to development of standards and procedures for the uniform introduction of new approaches.Collaborate with other Solution Architects and the Engineering Lead(s) to ensure and improve the architecture.Authentic & ambitious - Your profileYou have a profound understanding of cloud and cloud-native solution design, especially focusing on Identity & Access Management solutions (e.g., Auth0, Cognito, or others).Broad experience in AWS, particularly with serverless services (e.g., Lambda, DynamoDB, etc.).General understanding of related DevOps practices and tools, along with overarching platform standardization (e.g., IAM, API Gateway, etc.).Familiarity with common security challenges, mitigations, and observability patterns related to cloud and microservice architectures.Preferably, a software development background in Typescript / NodeJS or another major language.We provide full flexibility: Work from home or any location in Germany, including our offices from Hamburg to Munich.
