In this role, you will focus on generating new business opportunities through a mix of proactive outreach, lead generation, and cross-selling to existing clients. By identifying and engaging with potential customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions, you will drive long-term partnerships and revenue growth in the DACH region.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the business.
2. Drive new business acquisition through cold outreach, inbound leads, and cross-selling opportunities.
3. Record all client interactions and activity in Salesforce, ensuring proper follow-up with clients and informing the sales team of key updates.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to provide a seamless client experience from prospecting to onboarding.
5. Assist the sales team with client follow-ups, including PRN CS & Operations and visibility reports.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects in the DACH region.
7. Continuously identify opportunities to expand market share and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Skills and Competencies:
8. Highly motivated individual with a proven track record in sales or business development.
9. Completed studies or equivalent qualifications.
10. Ability to multitask effectively within a team environment (Cision Germany Sales Team and PRN CS & Operations UK).
11. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build trust and rapport with clients.
12. Proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
13. Passion for the PR and media industry.
14. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ideally, experience with a CRM system like Salesforce.
15. Fluent communication in both spoken and written German and English.
16. Experience in B2B sales, SaaS, or the media/PR industry is advantageous.
