About the position :
The Finance Director / Manager EMEA will oversee all financial operations for the region, focusing on driving financial performance across multiple production sites. This senior leadership role is pivotal for integrating comprehensive financial strategies with operational goals, ensuring the company’s continued growth and profitability. Reporting directly to the Managing Director EMEA and indirectly to the CFO, the successful candidate will bring both high-level financial acumen and hands-on operational expertise.
Key Accountabilities :
1. Financial Oversight : Align financial performance across EMEA manufacturing sites with corporate goals.
2. Budget Management : Lead the budgeting process for EMEA regions, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure accuracy.
3. Reporting : Ensure timely monthly financial and operational reporting for EMEA regions.
4. Trend Analysis : Analyze trends and deviations to identify business improvement opportunities.
5. Policy Development : Implement and manage financial policies and controls for accurate reporting.
6. Operational Partnership : Collaborate with production and operations teams to enhance cost efficiency and support manufacturing excellence.
7. KPI Integration : Integrate financial analysis with operational KPIs to drive process optimization.
8. Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with senior leadership and site finance teams on financial strategy.
9. Working Capital Management : Oversee and optimize working capital and liquidity across EMEA plants, collaborating with individual sites for improvement strategies.
10. Risk Management : Identify and mitigate financial risks across EMEA operations, safeguarding assets and profitability.
11. Cost Optimization : Drive initiatives to optimize cost structures while maintaining quality and production output.
12. Process Improvement : Oversee enhancements in financial systems to improve data accuracy, reporting speed, and transparency, including automation efforts.
Preconditions :
1. Experience : At least 8 years in finance roles, preferably within manufacturing or operational environments, with proven experience managing finance functions across multiple locations.
2. Allrounder : Comprehensive knowledge of accounting, controlling, tax, treasury, and financial planning, with adaptability to manage in a complex, multi-site setting.
3. Operational Savvy : Strong background in production finance, capable of interpreting and leveraging financial data to support operational goals.
4. Language Skills : Fluent in both German and English (essential).
