Your Impact Install, align, and secure projectors, mounts, and AV equipment at new show venues. Run and manage power, signal, and data cabling according to installation documentation. Assemble and install mounting systems, ensuring safety and load compliance. Conduct projection alignment, focus, and calibration to match creative specifications. Follow detailed technical documentation, drawings, and plans from the project planning team. Perform maintenance visits to operational sites to adjust, refocus, or repair technical components as needed. Execute system strikes (teardowns) and safely pack, transport, or ship hardware back to the warehouse. Maintain organized records of site activities, including measurements, photos, and completion reports. Collaborate with local contractors, venue staff, and 2Spicy team members to ensure safe and efficient work practices. Handle all company equipment responsibly, maintaining professional conduct on client premises. Your profile Demonstrated experience in technical installation, event technology, or AV systems integration. Strong understanding of projection systems, audio setups, and cabling infrastructure. Working knowledge of electrical safety, rigging, and load management best practices. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation documents. Comfortable using power tools, ladders, and measurement equipment in a safe and controlled manner. Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for field work. Self-motivated and able to work independently or with minimal supervision. Physically capable of lifting, climbing, and performing installation work at height. Willingness to travel internationally for short-duration projects and maintenance visits. Proficient in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage. Preferred Qualifications Background in AV integration, event production, or technical theatre. Experience with projector alignment, calibration tools, and networking. Knowledge of Google Workspace, documentation systems, and digital reporting tools. Valid driver’s license and familiarity with logistics or international shipping procedures.
