We're looking for an experienced Email & SMS Coordinator to oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of INTL email and SMS campaigns. This role involves managing budgets, ensuring compliance, and collaborating across teams to align marketing strategies with business goals.
The Role
About the role
The Email & SMS Coordinator oversees the planning, execution, and optimization of INTL email and SMS campaigns. They manage budgets, ensure compliance, and collaborate with teams to align marketing strategies with business goals. They oversee and implement US & INTL flow updates, tests, and campaign sale period projects. Additionally, they assist the Director of Remote and contribute to channel projects and tasks aimed at improving channel effectiveness and goals.
You will be responsible for :
1. INTL SMS Campaign Management: Oversee the entire SMS campaign process, including planning, copywriting, strategy, execution, segmentation, testing, and optimization based on performance metrics and goals.
2. INTL Campaign Scheduling: Schedule SMS campaigns, making necessary adjustments and additions to optimize timing and reach.
3. INTL Budget Management: Manage the budget for SMS campaigns to ensure cost-effectiveness and alignment with financial goals.
4. INTL Campaign Planning and Execution:
* Provide high-level direction for email and SMS campaigns in line with GTM plans and internal team strategy.
* Analyze performance metrics and make adjustments, such as A/B testing and segmentation changes.
* Manage and update subscriber lists for effective segmentation and personalization.
* Monitor key metrics like open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and revenue per recipient to identify improvement areas.
5. GTM & EVG Flow Management & Execution: Oversee Manage necessary Email & SMS flow additions, updates, tests, and optimizations based on GTM & EVG performance metrics and goals.
6. Oversee Channel Projects: Contribute to or manage channel projects and tasks aimed at improving channel effectiveness and goals.
7. Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work with other departments (e.g., e-commerce, CX) to align marketing efforts with overall objectives and enhance customer experience.
8. Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM, including obtaining consent, providing unsubscribe options, and maintaining accurate records.
9. Reporting and Vendor Management: Assist the Director of Remote and team with reporting, managing vendors, and handling legal requests.
10. Team Communication and Delegation: Provide instruction, guidance, and delegation to team members to optimize their time and the team's overall effectiveness.
Significant projects and initiatives associated to this role:
* Enhance INTL Email & SMS campaign efficiency and testing.
* Improve the INTL Email & SMS campaign process, which includes a variety of tasks handled on a daily and monthly basis.
* US & INTL Email & SMS flow updates and adjustments for GTM tasks, EVG tasks, and sale campaign periods such as managing manual adjustments to email content, subject lines, preview text, and URLs in flows.
Ideal Profile
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Email & SMS Campaign Management: Previous experience in managing email and SMS campaigns or flows in a direct-to-consumer (D2C) environment.
2. E-commerce Experience: 1-2 years of experience in e-commerce to understand and execute on relevant KPIs.
3. Communication: Excellent communication skills for effective coordination and collaboration.
4. Goal-Oriented: Strong drive and goal orientation, with the ability to learn independently.
5. Platform Proficiency: Advanced use of email and SMS platforms for campaign management. (Klaviyo and Postscript preferred)
Technical Skills
1. Proficiency in Notion for project management, task organization, collaboration, and documentation.
2. Proficiency in Slack for effective communication, collaboration, and team coordination, including channel management, file sharing, and real-time messaging.
3. Proficiency in GSuite for productivity, document management, and collaboration, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
4. Familiarity with Loom for creating and sharing video content, including screen recordings, tutorials, and presentations, to enhance communication and training within teams.
5. Advanced knowledge and use of platforms like Sendlane, Klaviyo, Postscript, Amped, and Shopify.
6. Deep understanding of email and SMS marketing strategies, KPIs, and segmentation techniques.
7. Ability to analyze campaign performance metrics and translate them into actionable insights.
