Could you be the full-time Project PI Manager (f/m/d) in Hennigsdorf we’re looking for?
Your Future Role
2,100 colleagues from 46 countries, including 800 engineers, shape in Hennigsdorf the future of rail mobility. The locally developed, manufactured, and maintained product range includes high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles. Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. You’ll report to Dirk Pechstein and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
We’ll look for you to :
* Assume the role of Project PI Manager in the Mainline and Metros area within the CNE organization
* Participate in the core project team from project initiation through all relevant delivery activities
* Ensure PI processes and instructions are followed throughout the project—internally, externally, and with the customer
* Develop and implement a PI Management Plan
* Ensure the availability of sufficient and qualified resources to meet customer requirements
* Organize the entire warranty work package, including budget control and accountability
* Drive reliability growth, both internally and with the customer, to meet contractual reliability targets
* Ensure agreed corrections are implemented for delivered products
* Collect field data (REX) and provide feedback to the project and organization in line with PI processes during ramp-up, design, implementation, and field support phases
* Deliver all services in the DfQ process in a timely, contract-compliant, and PI-compliant manner through effective planning, communication, and control
* Close open points, manage field modifications/retrofits, and ensure proper reporting
* Lead the project-specific PI team
* Ensure internal and external audits and evaluations are appropriately conducted
* Create a mobilization plan for the warranty period
* Comply with the Alstom Zero Deviation Plan (AZDP) and EHS requirements at the customer site
* Ensure the customer infrastructure is adequate to support PI interventions and activities
* Identify potential additional service sales opportunities during the warranty period

* Experience in project execution of rail vehicles (technical/industrial) – more than 5 years
* Several years of technical experience, either mechanical or electrical/electronic
* Knowledge/experience in EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety)
* Professional experience in a similar field
* Team leadership skills, ability to innovate, and willingness to travel
* General knowledge of railway systems and products, including railway safety
* Fluent in German and English (French is an advantage)
* Willingness to travel at least 25%
