Your Job:
In this versatile position, you will support the Institute Director and the team in the following administrative tasks:
1. Independently perform general administrative tasks for the institute management
2. Organize appointments as well as international conferences
3. Prepare and edit various documents in English and German and communicate with scientists
4. Prepare and follow-up of meetings, events and national and international business trips
5. Assist with correspondence and the preparation of presentations in German and English
6. Guide national and international visitors
Your Profile:
7. You have a degree as a foreign language secretary or equivalent qualification or proof of English language skills (at least B2 level); alternatively a comparable degree is desirable
8. You have sound experience in independently taking on secretarial and administrative tasks
9. High degree of independence, flexibility, motivation and initiative
10. Good organizational and coordination skills
11. Confident handling of common PC application programs (Microsoft Office), SAP knowledge is an advantage
12. A confident appearance as well as a courteous manner with guests and visitors is a matter of course for you
13. Your communication skills in German and English are above average

You will be initially employed for a fixed term of 2 years but with the prospect of longer-term employment. Salary and social security benefits will conform to the provisions of the Collective Agreement for the Public Service (TVöD-Bund), pay group 8, depending on your current qualifications and the precise nature of the tasks assigned to you.
