<p><strong>Role: European Project Director / Business Unit Lead</strong></p><p><strong>Location: Frankfurt, Germany</strong></p><p><strong>Employment type: Permanent</strong></p><p><strong>Salary: €150,000 – €160,000 + package</strong></p><p><strong>Rotation: Available for non-local candidates</strong></p><p><br></p><p>This is a rare opportunity to step into a business-critical leadership role, heading up the European function for a growing international MEP contractor in the data centre space.</p><p><br></p><p>You’ll be responsible for building, shaping and leading the delivery capability across Europe, starting with a major Frankfurt data centre project, but with a clear mandate to expand beyond a single scheme.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What you’ll be doing</strong></p><ul><li>Leading the European delivery function for data centre projects, starting in Frankfurt</li><li>Taking ownership of both project delivery and commercial performance across the region</li><li>Acting as the senior interface with clients, helping to win and grow accounts</li><li>Building and structuring teams across project management, commercial and site delivery</li><li>Driving standards, processes and consistency across European projects</li><li>Overseeing large-scale MEP packages while maintaining a strategic view across multiple projects</li><li>Supporting pre-construction, bid strategy and client engagement</li><li>Managing senior stakeholders internally and externally</li><li>Playing a key role in scaling the business across Europe</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What you’ll need</strong></p><ul><li>Background as a Senior Project Manager, Project Director, Contracts Manager or Business Unit Lead within MEP or mission-critical environments</li><li>Strong experience delivering data centre or large-scale MEP projects</li><li>Commercially astute, with the ability to take ownership of P&L, contracts and margin</li><li>Experience managing teams, not just individual projects</li><li>Ability to operate across both delivery and business growth</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-growth environment where structure is still being built</li><li>Strong client-facing capability, ideally with experience helping win or expand work</li><li>Willingness to be based in Frankfurt, or work on rotation if travelling from outside Germany</li></ul><p><br></p><p>This would suit someone who is already operating at Project Director / Contracts Manager level and is looking for a genuine opportunity to step into a wider European leadership position.</p>
