This role is responsible and accountable for the Y3 above market business, and mono brand retail execution. It also creates winning strategies for selected Influencer Accounts (football, running, outdoor, fashion and skate) to increase brand authentication and market share growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Luxury Fashion Sales
1. Manage global above market Y3 business
2. Maximize the Y-3 BU investment to capture the target consumer though suitable channel
3. Redevelopment of account base and DTC doors aligned to Y-3 strategy
4. Global management of selected collaborations and partner accounts
5. Responsible for NAM & EMEA WHS business for Yohji Yamamoto
Y3 Mono Brand Stores
6. Define the growth strategy of the Y-3 mono brand store business
7. Operational management of Franchise partner business – store opening, sell in, sell out
8. Distribution expansion and interaction management with partners and internal stakeholders i.e. Markets & Finance, Statement team
9. Manage North American and Japan Y-3 own retail stores, including concessions and outlets
Influencer Strategy
10. Define the role for the influencer channel for targeted categories in collaboration with BU’s, Markets and Marketplace teams
11. Sharpen R&R with Statement BU on allocation veto, collaboration distribution input
12. Establish a global support function for the Influencer A/C plans by category delivering the enablers for market and account success
13. Ensure and encourage best practice transfer across regions and across the different BU divisions in the respective channels of Fashion and Sport Specialty
14. Create and implement the short, medium and long term commercial strategies for the Global Specialty customer portfolio
Distributor Sales
15. Manage the sell in process and agree on sell out support. Ensure formalization of the agreements by signing off the account/distributor.
16. Negotiate and implement commercial terms (e.g.: Trade Investments) according to the respective Global WHS policy
17. Ensure optimal distribution of adidas Group
Team & Culture
18. Execute against an efficient and effective organizational structure per company blueprint
19. Regularly identify and develop talents, create realistic succession scenarios leveraging the company aligned processes
20. Act as a role model in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations as well as the adidas Fair Play Code of Conduct and other internal policies
21. To manage, recruit for and develop the global specialty organization to achieve all relevant targets

31. Proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional projects, ideally with Marketing, Sales or Operations experience

REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 12+ years of sales/marketing experience within global matrix organization
Preferable experience in the wholesale sports and/or apparel industry, luxury fashion industry or in other consumer goods
Min. 8+ years leadership experience successfully leading, managing and developing a team
Ideally experience in global & market roles
Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for degree
