Unified Communications Audio-Visual Lead Job Category: Information Technology Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular-Long Term Assignment Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * The Opportunity : Seeking an experienced and self-directed Unified Communications Audio-Visual (UC A/V) Team Lead to manage enterprise-level UC and A/V operations for a critical DoD organization (US AFRICOM) OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany. Responsibilities: The UC A/V Team Lead should have Enterprise level IP Telephony administration experience in an operations and maintenance environment as well as a strong understanding of A/V installation and signal flow. Duties include providing the UC design, installation, integration, so that the team meets customer specifications and complies/conforms with the organizational roadmap. Develop and deliver installation, integration and maintenance documentation to operations and maintenance personnel. Work with external service providers to ensure their solutions meet the organizationu2019s configuration management policy and procedures. Support engineering tasks for project management lifecycle. Staying abreast of emerging trends in information technology and helping shape the work for the Government. As the UC A/V Team Lead on site, the position also includes tier 3 troubleshooting support when needed to operations and maintenance, as well as escalated support for maintenance, monitoring, upgrades, network performance reviews, problem determination and resolution, of the AFRICOM unclassified and classified Voice and Video over IP (EVoIP), and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) services. Duties also include configuration of devices in accordance with security policies, capacity and utilization monitoring. The lead will provide trending and capacity planning services to analyze and plan for efficient utilization and management of the networked services. As necessary, troubleshoot and correct all detected or reported faults or outages and complete after-action problem identification. Position supports enterprise EVoIP and VTC dial-plan management and account management functions. This position is also responsible for the O&M of the conference room audio visual systems. This includes but is not limited to audio DSPu2019s, PTZ cameras, microphones, speakers, and controllers. Applicants must have a solid understanding of voice technologies and experience in administering Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Call Manager), voice gateways / Session Border Controllers, SIP, H.323, Cisco Expressway/ VCS, TMS, Prime Collaboration, Meeting Server, MCU and VoIP/Video endpoints. The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, have strong leadership skills, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users. Additionally, the Unified Communications Audio-Visual Team Lead will provide remote support and/or travel to customer sites as required. Qualifications _Required_ Currently hold an adjudicated Top Secret/SCI Clearance and be able to maintain BA/BS 3 years recent specialized or AA/AS 7 years recent specialized or a major cert 7 years recent specialized or 11 years of recent specialized experience CCNA u2013 Collaboration Certification CompTIA Security (IAT Level II or greater) Experience with Cisco Routers and Switches Experience with Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems and networking TESA eligibility Desired ITIL v3 u2013 Foundation CCNP Collaboration Certification Extensive background in AV system installation or maintenance AMX and Crestron certifications - ________________________________________________________________________________________ What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.
