Responsibilities:
1. Conducting occupational health screenings and fitness-for-duty examinations at the Weinheim location and occasionally at other locations
2. Advising the company and employees on all matters related to occupational health and safety, including workplace and facility inspections
3. Providing emergency medical care, treating acute illnesses, and offering travel medicine advice to employees
4. Helping to shape the company’s occupational health management program
Qualifications:
5. Board certification in occupational medicine or a subspecialty in occupational health, or at least two years of clinical experience relevant to the training program
6. Subspecialty certification in emergency medicine or certification in emergency medical services, or the prerequisites to obtain these
7. Additional board certification is desirable (e.g., general practice, trauma surgery, internal medicine, etc.)
8. Strong interest in occupational health issues in an industrial setting
9. Ability to work independently, proactively, and innovatively, as well as a high sense of responsibility, are strongly preferred
10. Excellent written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
