Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours. Your tasks and responsibilities: You will develop, refine and maintain novel and existing imaging techniques as part of the software development process. Your activities will focus on MR sequence techniques and image reconstruction procedures. You will work on product development and on the optimization and evaluation of new procedures, collaborating closely with internal and external development teams as well as international clinical and scientific partners. You will live and breathe the agile software development process and, as part of the team, you will be responsible for activities such as the planning, refinement, review and documentation of your application features. You will work with product owners, product managers, project managers and other stakeholders to ensure an optimal workflow within the whole organization. In addition, you will independently prepare and deliver presentations, for example in training courses with application specialists. You will develop image quality improvements and independently transfer solution ideas and customer feedback into the requirements catalog for future product developments. To find out more about the specific business, have a look at Magnetic Resonance Imaging Your qualifications and experience: You have successfully completed a master's degree in medical engineering, physics, biomedical engineering, electrical engineering or a similar discipline, ideally combined with a PhD in the same field. You have several years of professional experience in MR imaging techniques and a sound knowledge of digital image processing, as well as an excellent knowledge of MR physics. Experience in the field of developing novel techniques for diffusion imaging and echo planar imaging sequences is a plus. You can demonstrate your extensive knowledge of modern SW development methods through numerous practical applications involving C++, C# programming and MR sequence programming, ideally with MR IDEA and MR ICE. Ideally, you have a sound knowledge of agile development methods and are familiar with the specifics of software development for medical equipment and applications.
