What you'll be doing
5. Lead and develop a team of manual and automation quality engineers
6. Plan and prioritize test activities to ensure on‑time, in‑scope delivery
7. Define and communicate test strategies aligned with business and regulatory requirements
8. Oversee test planning, execution, reporting, and traceability across all test levels
9. Drive continuous improvement of quality processes, standards, and automation practices
10. Select and implement testing tools, frameworks, and methodologies
11. Ensure completeness of system, regression, security, and acceptance testing
12. Collaborate with R&D, Product, and Project Management to evaluate deliverables and acceptance criteria
13. Identify risks, process gaps, and audit findings, and drive corrective actions
14. Provide expert guidance on testing standards, quality management, and regulatory expectations
What we look for
15. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
16. 10+ years in software quality engineering, including 3+ years in people management
17. Experience leading teams across manual and automated testing
18. Strong expertise with testing tools, automation frameworks, and Agile methodologies (Scrum or SAFe)
19. Knowledge of DevOps practices, cloud-based solutions, and SDLC
20. Hands-on experience with scripting/programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Ruby) and SQL
21. Experience testing APIs and/or mobile applications
22. Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools; Polarion is a plus
23. Understanding of FDA regulations (21 CFR Part 11, cGxP) is an advantage
24. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
