Delivery Director – Frankfurt (Hyperscale Data Center)
Role Overview
As Delivery Director based in Frankfurt, you'll lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale hyperscale data center projects, guiding them from shovel-ready status through to commissioning and handover. You'll manage General Contractors and multi-disciplinary teams in civil/structural (CSA) and MEP construction, ensuring performance, compliance, and cost-efficiency at mega-scale.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide leadership, coaching, and empowerment to a cross-functional delivery team in alignment with corporate strategy;
* Oversee entitlement, permitting, design, construction, commissioning, and project close-out phases;
* Drive standardisation of delivery methods to accelerate delivery timelines, reduce costs, and maintain consistent quality;
* Develop and refine scalable tools, templates, and procedures for repeatable success;
* Collaborate closely with Operations, Procurement, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and executive leadership to align priorities and expedite decision-making;
* Lead project budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis in partnership with Finance teams;
* Manage GC/vendor relationships, qualification, RFPs, MSAs, and project authorisations;
* Support customer/sales engagement around delivery timelines, compliance, and service handover;
* Ensure all construction meets the Basis of Design (BOD), specifications, codes, and operational readiness;
* Act as escalation point for resourcing, workflows, and QA/QC across all project stages;
* Prepare and present approval packages for executive review and sign-off.
Ideal Profile
* 7-10 years in leadership roles within construction/delivery of hyperscale or mission-critical data center infrastructure;
* Deep mastery of CSA and MEP construction management at scale;
* Strong, inspirational leadership with team development and harmonisation skills;
* Excellent communicator, fluent in German and English;
* Frankfurt-based and available on-site 4–5 days a week;
* Able and willing to travel as needed.
