We're looking for a Working Student (m/f/d) to join our Environmental Sustainability Decarbonization Team at TUIfly GmbH.
In this exciting role, you'll help us actively shape the future of sustainable aviation. The position is available for 6 months and is based in Langenhagen, but can be performed remotely/hybrid.
The role will be published until 22 May. The role may be closed earlier due to a high number of applicants.

ABOUT THE JOB
3. Conduct structured reviews of scientific literature and present analyses on topics related to aviation sustainability and decarbonisation
4. Analyse the impact of fuel efficiency initiatives and operational improvements at aircraft mission level
5. Support decarbonisation reporting processes, including understanding regulatory requirements and helping establish robust data flows
6. Collect, manage and archive data from ongoing scientific research projects
7. Analyse datasets and compile clear, insightful outputs for internal stakeholders
8. Support the preparation of presentations and reports to communicate key findings
ABOUT YOU
9. Currently pursuing a degree in an aviation-related or relevant technical/scientific field
10. Experience in data analytics and visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau or similar)
11. Strong programming skills, particularly in Python
12. Demonstrated interest in aviation decarbonisation, with foundational knowledge in: CO₂ and non-CO₂ emissions, sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), and operational pathways to net-zero
13. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and evaluate options
14. Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
15. Confident working with diverse stakeholders in a multicultural environment
16. Fluent in business English, both written and verbal
