What youll do
* Attend to the complete asset lifecycle for automated lab equipment, from assessing hardware upgrades and licenses to initiating vendor updates and coordinating with project managers
* Contribute to automation projects by assisting with hardware specifications, coordinating network setups with specialists, and supporting implementation and issue resolution
* Facilitate hardware and software orders, both internally and externally, aligning them with our evolving business needs
* Shape and maintain the R&D lab network infrastructure, collaborating closely with IT and R&D teams
* Provide first-level IT-support for measurement devices, connected PCs, and scientific/lab equipment, as well as handle MS SharePoint administration, O365-related issues, and user access rights
* Act as a community manager, ensuring open communication channels and giving assistance to colleagues
What makes you a good fit
* Vocational training (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) with 1-2 years of relevant job experience
* A strong interest in the latest industry trends, coupled with an analytical, detail-oriented mindset and a desire to help others
* First programming experience (e.g., .NET, C# or SQL) beneficial
* Any relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate) considered a plus
* Good communication skills in English and German, with the patience, compassion, and technical understanding needed to guide a diverse user base
