Job Title: Bid Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Bid Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing bid processes, coordinating proposal teams, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality documents.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and coordinate bid processes within the team and in collaboration with Sales, Engineering, and Product departments
* Organize proposals, create, edit, and finalize documents, and lead the proposal team if necessary
* Coordinate, track, and control general bid activities
* Prepare cost estimates in cooperation with the proposal team
* Aquire necessary supporting documentation, certificates, notarizations, etc.
Requirements
* Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or similar; alternatively, comparable education at an air traffic control authority
* Minimum 2 years experience in project team work; additional experience is an advantage
* Very good knowledge of MS Office (in particular Word, Excel)
* Technical understanding with ability to comprehend and present complex technical concepts
* Structured and organized approach to work with high self-motivation
* Excellent written and spoken English (C2)
* Good written and spoken German is an advantage (C1)
