We are focused on growth and are therefore filling several positions at Hamburg, Bremen and Stade sites.
For our location in Hamburg or Bremen (hybrid working model) we are looking for a
Design Engineer Shipbuilding / Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d)
The main tasks are:
- Creation and maintenance of 3D models and 2D drawings
- Design of assemblies, foundations, deck equipment, hull components, and technical spaces
- Preparation and maintenance of bills of materials (BOMs), piping lists, and technical documentation
- Development of general arrangements and detailed designs
- Creation of CAM data, isometric drawings, and P&ID documentation
- Development of integration, installation, lifting, and transport concepts
- Coordination of technical matters with customers, suppliers, and internal departments
- Preparation of design review reports and punch lists (open items lists)
- Preparation of as-built documentation and handover documentation
- Support during factory acceptance tests and commissioning
Voraussetzungen
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a comparable field
- Experience in mechanical design and system integration
- Knowledge of Siemens NX, Teamcenter, or comparable CAD/PLM systems
- Familiarity with relevant standards and regulations (DIN, ISO, EN)
- Experience with technical specifications and change management
- Structured and self-reliant working approach
- Fluent English (business level)
- German language skills are an advantage
