Product Development Manager Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Product Development Manager, responsible for the development and execution of new Heated Tobacco Products.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development of innovative products, including Heated Tobacco Sticks, by leading assigned projects and executing test designs in an economically efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
* Project Leadership: Lead assigned projects from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
* Test Design and Execution: Develop and execute test designs using tobaccos, materials, and processes that maximize efficiency.
* Product Evaluation: Initiate consumer tests and evaluate product strengths and weaknesses.
* Product Specifications: Prepare product specifications and follow up on changes to the industrial manufacturing stage.
* Technical Direction: Supervise testing for technical directions on assigned development projects.
* Communication: Ensure effective communication with the global supply chain and other stakeholders on product development and maintenance.
* Implementation: Manage the implementation of product/specification changes in close cooperation with technical departments and arrange input into SAP.
Requirements:
* Education: University degree (Bachelor's or PhD) in Chemistry, Food Technology, or Agronomy, or equivalent education.
* Experience: Several years of business practice in product development, preferably in the tobacco or FMCG industry.
* Knowledge: Understanding of tobacco and markets, casing and flavor, cigarette components, and designs is beneficial.
* Skills: Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, good communication and presentation skills, team-oriented, open-minded, ready to learn new things, and flexible attitude.
* Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional foreign language knowledge is advantageous.
