The role - your passion
* You are in charge of the Controlling and FP&A function, leading a team of 4 people and part of the Roadsurfer Finance leadership team to shape the future of the departments.
* You own the company's financials, including the business plan, financial and liquidity forecasting, KPI analysis and performance tracking.
* You take on critical company-wide analyses and act as sparring partner for key stakeholders.
* You work closely with the C-level team and support the preparation of financing rounds (Due Diligence, Scenario Modelling, etc.) and ongoing investor relations.
* Process Improvement: Enhance financial systems, automation, and reporting capabilities to improve efficiency and accuracy.
What you need to surf the wave with us
* Hire, mentor, and develop the FP&A team, driving professional growth; you lead the team with energy and empathy.
* Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders.
* 7+ years of Controlling/FP&A experience in banking, consulting, or a private equity or venture capital backed business. Experience in a fast-moving scale-up is a must.
* Intuitive understanding of what drives a business model and ability to validate by using financial and commercial data points.
* Experience pivoting decentralized systems finance systems into a modern scaleable platform.
* Outstanding financial modelling skills, in particular using Excel, is a must. Experience with Lucanet is a must have; ERP systems (SAP), DATEV, Candis are a nice to have.
* Full proficiency in English; German will be considered a plus.
