What the job involves
As an M&A Associate, you will support the Head of M&A and work closely with senior management across all stages of the transaction process, from deal sourcing, valuation, and negotiation to execution and post-merger integration. You will be part of a lean, highly motivated team with exposure to top-tier private equity partners and leading advisory firms.
* End-to-end involvement in the M&A process
* Preparation of company valuations, business analyses, and financial models
* Conducting market and competitor research
* Drafting NBOs, term sheets, and board approval documents
* Coordination and oversight of due diligence teams and DD processes
* Supporting the structuring and negotiation of transaction documents (e.g., SPA, SHA, management agreements)
* Assisting with transaction closing and post-merger integration (PMI)
Who we are looking for
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, finance, or a related field, ideally with a focus on corporate finance, accounting, or M&A
* First relevant full-time experience in M&A (e.g., investment bank, M&A boutique, Big Four, or healthcare roll-up)
* Strong skills in company valuation and financial modelling
* Analytical mindset, structured work approach, and entrepreneurial thinking
* Excellent communication skills
* Fluent in German and English
* Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
* Experience in the healthcare services sector is a plus, but not required
