We have partnered with a leader in the green hydrogen industry, developing and manufacturing state-of-the-art PEM electrolysers that play a key role in global decarbonization.
Role:
* You will work closely with the project team to develop project controlling strategies and plans that are in line with project goals and contractual requirements.
* In this role, you will monitor, analyze and report on project progress, cost development and potential risks. Together with the project management, you will develop measures to achieve goals and minimise risk.
* You will ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of project data and implement quality assurance processes to achieve consistent project results.
* You will create and maintain project timelines, identify milestones and perform critical path analyses – in close cooperation with all project participants.
* You will monitor project costs against budget and forecasting, develop reliable cost estimates together with project management, identify deviations and initiate countermeasures.
* You will be responsible for change order management and ensure that changes are correctly documented and integrated into time and cost planning.
* You will monitor the hours spent in relation to the services provided and identify changes that impact the project budget.
Requirements:
* Degree in business administration, cost management, industrial engineering or a comparable field
* At least 5 years of professional experience in cost or project controlling, ideally in the engineering or construction industry
* Practical experience in project controlling, preferably in the EPC environment; Certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) and/or AACE (Certified Cost Engineer) are an advantage
* Confident handling of tools for cost and project controlling, e.g. Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, SAP
* In-depth knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
* Experience in working with project management software such as Power BI, SAP or Oracle
* Familiarity with cost controlling methods, especially earned value management (EVM)
