As a Junior Group Accountant, you’ll play a key role in our Group Finance team. You’ll take ownership of essential reporting and consolidation processes, support the alignment between HGB, IFRS, and internal management reporting, and work hands-on with tools like LucaNet. From lease accounting under IFRS 16 to driving improvements in systems and workflows, your work will make an impact from day one.

Your Responsibility
1. Management of reporting and consolidation tool LucaNet, including user authorizations, report development, data integrity, and monthly data imports from local accounting systems
2. Preparation of reconciliation bridge between HGB, consolidated IFRS, and Group management reporting submitted to banks and the advisory board on a quarterly basis
3. Support in the monthly closing and management reporting process, including documentation, reporting packages, and checklists
4. Reconciliation and review of balance sheet movement schedules (assets, loans, provisions)
5. Full responsibility for IFRS 16 lease accounting, including contract assessment, data review, monthly reconciliation, updates to accounting policies, and handling of contract modifications and lease planning
6. Full responsibility for trade receivables impairment under HGB and IFRS 9, including ECL calculation, subledger reconciliation, and data reliability checks
7. Identification of process improvements and participation in cross-departmental efficiency initiatives
8. Communication with external auditors, preparation of audit working papers, and drafting of accounting memorandums
9. Maintenance and regular updates of the Group Accounting Manual
Your Experience
10. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus on Controlling, Finance, or Accounting
11. Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience
12. Experience with LucaNet is a plus
13. Basic knowledge of IFRS with a strong willingness to develop further in this area
14. Proficiency in MS Office; advanced Excel skills are a plus
15. Independent, proactive, and self-reliant working style with a high level of reliability and ability to work under pressure
16. Strong understanding of business issues and a solution-oriented mindset to support shared goals
17. Hands-on mentality and willingness to take ownership
18. Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)
