As a Sales Support Specialist, you will be responsible for achieving quarterly and annual sales targets for Biologics Testing services in your assigned territory. The role involves engaging with prospects and existing customers while guiding customers to Biologics services that best meet their needs.
Note: It's a fully remote role with some business travel requirements.
Develop and qualify account leads through prospecting, using different platforms (Global Data, Sales Navigator, etc.), Work closely with the business development team, management, and different stakeholders (operations, client services, marketing, legal, project management, etc) to increase market share in a given territory.
Gather data on market trends and competition, including new services and prices.
Daily, use CRM (Salesforce) to reflect all client interactions, to keep the pipeline of opportunities up to date, and to upload all information related to the sales process.
Complete all required sales training and documentation promptly.
Participate in sales meetings and trade shows, as required.
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in life sciences (Biology, biochemistry, chemistry, pharmacy, etc.) Professional experience in life sciences: combined technical and sales experience.
Previous experience in business development, project management, and/or analytical development acquired in the biotech/biopharma industry will be preferred.
Ability to identify and tackle obstacles to the sales process.
Willingness to learn and join a dynamic working environment.
Proficient in the use of office/sales computer applications/software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI)
Experience working with Salesforce or a similar CRM database is a plus.
German-speaking native. Fluency in English.
