* Completed studies in data science, computer science or a comparable field
* At least 5 years of professional experience as a data scientist / in the development of data-driven solutions
* Sound knowledge of Python and common ML/DL libraries (e.g. scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
* Experience with cloud platforms - ideally Google Cloud
* Demonstrated ability in stakeholder communication and management
* Experience working with Agile methodology
* Ability to work flexibly and independently
* Experience in creating and maintaining project documentation
* Good understanding of related data disciplines (e.g. data engineering, data analytics)
* Ability to understand, analyze and translate business requirements into data-driven solutions
* Enthusiasm for collaboration, knowledge sharing and joint learning
* Very good English skills - German is a plus but not a must

Your tasks

* Connecting and enriching article data by building ML models
* Building financial decision models
* Apply statistical methods & techniques to answer business questions
* You actively share your knowledge and support colleagues in building data science skills
* You bring best practices in data science and engineering to the organization and drive continuous improvement
* Strong proficiency in PySpark and Python
* Proficiency with local development tools including VSCode, PyCharm, and Git
