Global Service Manager - Greater Freiburg Area, Germany - Up to €110,000 (d / m / w)
Based in the South West of Germany, an innovative and ferociously expanding company is offering a brand new Global Service Manager role.
This special company develops world-leading Networking and Energy Solutions, where they are now positioned as a leader in their market. During this exciting time, they urgently require a Global Service Manager to utilize their specialist skills to coordinate an international team of technical service specialists.
Responsibilities
* Record and share site feedback to help refine internal processes and enhance product quality.
* Seek and certify new service partners to expand the support network.
* Train and assist service partners to strengthen our broader service infrastructure.
* Collaborate closely with the global service team and sales units to align strategic actions.
* Explore and implement opportunities to grow service revenue within your region.
* Oversee site activities, conduct client training, and resolve technical issues.
* Manage third-party contracts, including quote collection, scheduling, pricing, and execution support.
* Allocate resources effectively in line with agreed service plans.
* Prepare service cost estimates, supported by on-site evaluations, to inform sales offers.
* Lead the local service team, ensuring both technical direction and personnel oversight.
Desired Skills and Experience
* Ideally, obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or similar
* 5+ years experience working as a Technical Service Engineer
* 2+ years experience of leadership experience
* Willingness to travel internationally (30%)
* Fluency in English and German is mandatory
