Systems Administrator (Web), Senior. This position is in support ofthe USAEUR Mission Partner the7MSC located in Kaiserslautern, Germany.

Responsibilities:
1. Supports installing operating system software, patches, and upgrades, including cloud-based systems
2. Provides support and tech expertise in systems technology, including virtual hardware and cloud capabilities
3. Manages network and systems configurations to improve performance and maintain compliance with security requirements
4. Maintains network Active Directories (ADs), file servers, and print servers
5. Assesses and supports testing of proposed configuration changes and documents configuration changes
6. Ensures configurations enable automated updating (e.g., System Center Configuration Manager)
7. Administers and maintains virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware)
8. Ensures system backups, recovery, and storage provisioning are adequate to support Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) plans
9. Supports COOP and DR reviews and exercises, including developing plans or scenarios, and implements changes identified and approved as a result of exercises
10. Performs routine audits of operating systems, servers, and applications, including forensic audits and reports or resolutions for incidents
11. Analyzes, troubleshoots, and resolves system hardware, software, and networking issues, including system outages
12. Monitors response times, evaluating user satisfaction levels and making recommendations for system improvements
13. Interfaces with vendors/Government/technical staff on technical solutions, system implementation, optimization, and ongoing management
14. Provides web design and web content administrator support to maintain and improve web-based systems
15. Plans, designs, tests, and implements static and dynamic pages, websites, web apps, and associated content
16. Participates and contributes to discussions and evaluations of new technologies
17. Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments
18. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments
19. Mentors less experienced personnel and may supervise others
Qualifications:
20. Currently hold an adjudicated Secret clearance and the ability to maintain
21. BA/BS +8-12
22. Certification – 8140 - FITSP-D or GDSA or CASP+ or CCSP or Cloud+ or CSSLP or GSEC
23. Exhibits mastery of operating system management, network administration, and web technologies, with particular emphasis on cloud-based systems and virtual environments.
24. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of system configurations, cybersecurity compliance, and performance optimization techniques across complex IT infrastructures.
25. Displays strategic expertise in managing active directories, file servers, virtualization platforms, and web-based systems, ensuring robust system backups and disaster recovery capabilities.
26. Excels in troubleshooting and resolving advanced system hardware, software, and networking issues, including forensic audits and incident resolution.
27. Commands proficiency in web design, content administration, and implementation of static and dynamic web applications.
28. Displays leadership qualities through mentoring junior staff, interfacing with vendors and technical teams, and functioning as a technical expert across multiple high-impact projects.
29. Demonstrates ability to evaluate user satisfaction levels, implement system improvements, and contribute to technology evaluations.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$99,300 - 208,600 USD
