Role Description
We are seeking a COO (Chief Operations Officer) to serve as the Architect of Integrity. This is a remote Co-founder role for someone who can bridge the gap between complex operations and rigorous sustainability.
As the COO, you are the guardian of the HiMambo marketplace. You will ensure that every tourism partner we onboard, every internal policy we write, and every operational process we scale aligns with our core sustainability guidelines. You aren't just managing logistics; you are building a regenerative business model from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sustainability Governance: Design and enforce the "Green Standards" that all B2B partners must meet to be listed on our platform.
* Operational Excellence: Build the "engine room" of HiMambo—developing scalable processes for partner onboarding, fulfillment, marketing, and customer support.
* Product-Ops Leadership: Oversee the Product to ensure our tech roadmap serves our operational and environmental goals.
* Compliance & Ethics: Ensure the company follows ethical supply chain practices
* Team Orchestration: Work closely with the CEO and CCO to ensure the business is as efficient as it is ethical.

Qualifications
* Operational Mastery: Proven experience building or managing business operations, preferably in a marketplace or travel-tech environment.
* Sustainability Expertise: Deep understanding of sustainable tourism standards (GSTC, B-Corp, or similar frameworks).
* Product Literacy: Comfortable translating technical, marketing, and sustainanibility requirements into operational needs.
* Analytical Mindset: Ability to manage internal budgets and optimize unit economics for profitability.
* Entrepreneurial Grit: Proactive problem-solver comfortable with the uncertainty and speed of a bootstrapping startup.
* Language: Business proficiency in English. German and/or Spanish skills are highly desired given our target markets.
