Role Overview
Our client is a leading provider of equipment for the industrial sector operating on a recurring revenue model. With a strong footprint in Germany and revenues exceeding €250 million in the region, the business serves thousands of customers across the industrial and manufacturing sectors.
The company is undergoing a significant transformation and is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Head of Sales to drive new business growth and revitalise conversion performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the national sales team
* Drive new business growth across Germany, with a focus on SME and mid-market clients.
* Implement strategies to improve sales conversion rates and shorten the sales cycle.
* Oversee the full sales funnel, from first contact to signed contract.
* Collaborate with senior leadership on go-to-market strategies and long-term growth plans.
* Report directly to the Regional Managing Director with full visibility on performance metrics.
Candidate Profile
* Native German speaker or fluent German speaker.
* Proven experience in hunter-style, fast-paced B2B sales environments.
* Strong background in leading and motivating sales teams to exceed new business targets.
* Familiarity with first-contact-to-conversion sales models.
* Background in recurring revenue, rental, or outsourced service industries strongly preferred (e.g., workwear/textiles, facility management, rental services, fleet/leasing, industrial services).
* Track record of delivering growth in challenging or transitional business environments.
