As Head of Accounting & Controlling, you will build, lead, and professionalise the group finance function across multiple international entities. This position is both strategic and hands‑on, giving you the opportunity to:
Design and implement a group‑wide finance function, aligning with investor‑grade standards.
Lead and develop finance teams in Germany and internationally, including managing outsourced providers.
Oversee all group accounting, consolidation, monthly close, and reporting processes for accuracy and timeliness.
Ensure statutory reporting, tax compliance, payroll, regulatory tasks, and audit readiness.
Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support company growth and decision‑making.
Manage treasury activities, including cash flow forecasting and banking relationships.
Act as a key finance lead in M&A integration, supporting acquisition accounting and reporting alignment.
Advise senior leadership and shareholders as a trusted finance partner.
Key Skills
Qualified accountant (or equivalent)
Significant senior finance leadership experience
Background in software, SaaS, or recurring revenue organisations
Experience in Private Equity–backed or similar investor environments
Proven ability to build and scale finance teams and functions
Expertise in group accounting, consolidation, and monthly reporting cycles
Fluency in German; comfortable with DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) business environment
M&A integration and investor reporting experience
Strategic perspective with a hands‑on approach
