Your tasks You will further develop the IT and information security strategy for Hamburg's schools and the authority – and actively implement it. You will lead and develop your team and further expand structures and processes for future-proof IT security management. You will establish governance, standards, and security concepts and ensure that they are effectively anchored in day-to-day operations. You will manage audits, risk analyses, and security assessments and derive concrete measures from them. You will be the central contact person for IT security at management level and represent the authority in inter-agency committees. Your profile Required University degree (master's or equivalent) in computer science, business informatics, IT security, or a comparable field of study, or skills and experience equivalent to a university degree based on a completed degree (bachelor's or equivalent) in the above-mentioned fields and an additional four years of relevant professional experience in master's-level activities As a civil servant: Qualification for career group 2, second entry-level position in the field of general services You can also apply if you are qualified for career group 2, first entry-level position in the field of general services, and meet the additional requirements for promotion to a position in salary grade A14 or higher in accordance with § 6 (5) or (6) HmbLVO-AllgD.
