We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused
IT Support Associate (m/f/d)
to join the dynamic team in Berlin. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for technical support requests from the clients Corporate and subsidiary employees worldwide.
You will handle a high volume of inquiries via chat, phone, email, and ticketing systems, providing timely and effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide basic technical support for Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot end-user computing issues, ensuring timely resolution.
* Respond to support requests via chat, phone, email, and ticketing systems.
* Document customer interactions thoroughly and accurately.
* Inform users about necessary repairs and ensure satisfaction with completed work.
* Follow standard operating procedures and utilize knowledge management tools.
* Maintain current knowledge of relevant policies and technical procedures.
* Assist with triage and escalation of system or network outages.
* Support remote assistance for teleconferencing and AV presentation systems.
* Adhere to shift schedules, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements:
* Experienced in onsite IT helpdesk support.
* Proven experience supporting Windows, Mac, and/or Linux in a corporate setting.
* High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
* Strong verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical staff.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
* Demonstrated commitment to quality and multitasking in a high-volume setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT-related field or equivalent.
* Microsoft certifications (MCSE, MCITP Systems Administrator – Active Directory).
* Advanced Linux systems administration skills.
* Strong troubleshooting abilities for complex systems.
* Ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
* ITIL Foundation Certification.
