As part of the planned ERP realignment and strategic development of our IT, we are looking for an entrepreneurial leader who combines operational stability with strategic creativity. Your role: You will assume overall responsibility for our IT division in an operationally oriented yet strategically crucial key role. In the coming years, you will play a decisive role in shaping the technological development of wobra—in particular the selection, design, migration, and introduction of a new ERP system. In doing so, you will consistently develop our IT, which is already well established in the municipal environment, and lay the foundation for the next strategic development stage of our digital control and system landscape. You will manage our IT team in terms of discipline and technical expertise, create clear structures, priorities, and responsibilities, and report directly to the management. You will ensure the sustainable documentation and safeguarding of system and process knowledge as the basis for the further development of our IT structure. Your main tasks: Overall responsibility for IT, including budget and investment planning Disciplinary and technical management of a small IT team Active communication of IT changes to all departments – you create acceptance and involve process participants at an early stage Independent management of the ERP realignment with the involvement of external partners Development and implementation of an IT and digitization roadmap with clear prioritization Further development of a future-proof target architecture, including integration and data strategy Identification and introduction of meaningful AI-supported automation and analysis solutions – pragmatic, economical, and in line with our overall architecture Ensuring stable, secure, and economical IT operations Management of external service providers in the municipal environment Further development of our central work and collaboration platform Responsibility for data protection, information security, and backup and emergency concepts In addition to your strategic responsibilities, you will also be involved in operational tasks as required and provide support in complex issues. What you bring to the table (must-haves): Assertive, structured, and at the same time appreciative leadership personality with clear communication skills Several years of experience in an operational IT management or senior IT role with leadership responsibility Experience in significantly contributing to or leading ERP selection or migration projects Strong project management skills in IT and transformation projects Good understanding of modern IT architectures, cloud environments, and integration concepts Degree in (business) information technology or comparable qualification with sound IT practice Ideally, you will also have (nice-to-have): Experience in establishing clear structures and processes in small or medium-sized organizations Practical experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID) In-depth knowledge of IT security and data protection Interest in and, ideally, initial experience with the use of AI applications in operational business processes Industry knowledge in the housing sector is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
