Role descriptionThe Managing Commercial Director at Raidboxes will be a key member of the local leadership team, overseeing primarily the commercial strategy as well as broader business operations as the local Managing Director. This role holds overall responsibility for the commercial functions that drive revenue and serve our customers, including Sales, Marketing, and Customer Care.In addition to leading these teams, the Managing Commercial Director will maintain a strategic overview of the company’s performance, ensuring alignment with business objectives such as growth, efficiency, and profitability. They will collaborate closely with regional stakeholders and receive support from group functional units (Finance, Tech, Data, and Product) to drive sustainable success and operational excellence.ResponsibilitiesSet business objectives and create, implement, and analyze the success of strategies.Forecast, plan, and set budgets in coordination with the finance department for all commercial activities, aligned with group targets.Leverage sales, marketing, and support to drive revenue growth.Lead and develop teams in marketing, sales, and support.Define and implement local strategies for pricing & packaging to increase customer value and gross adds.Work with marketing to attract more customers through compelling storytelling, while managing and optimizing Cost of Acquisition.Focus on channel innovation to maximize customer volumes via marketing and sales efforts.Manage cross-selling and up-selling activities, such as through marketing automation, to increase product adoption, usage, and ARPU.Ensure customer satisfaction and the customer journey are central, maintaining an efficient customer support service.Set objectives with the support team and develop strategies for maximum output and high customer service levels, measured through NPS.Nurture and grow corporate accounts and reseller channels.Analyze customer feedback and market trends to identify areas for product and service improvement.Monitor competition and market conditions, implementing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.Foster a data-driven decision-making culture within teams, ensuring proper tracking and analysis.Design and implement processes and procedures aligned with group best practices for efficiency.Conduct regular analysis of the customer base to identify trends and emerging needs, collaborating with the group product unit.Required Skills and ExperienceStrong commercial acumen to manage complex projects considering organizational impact.Senior management experience leading teams in Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service, with inspirational leadership skills.Experience managing marketing, customer care, and sales teams in B2B/SME settings, preferably in tech or SaaS industries.Proficiency in performance and digital marketing with a test-and-learn mindset.Ability to meet targets within tight deadlines.Excellent skills in organizing, synthesizing, and presenting information to senior stakeholders across product, marketing, finance, and sales.Deep understanding of subscription-based business models.Strategic yet hands-on approach.Effective cost management and budget control.German speaker and fluent in English; proximity to Münster is a plus for on-site engagement.Knowledge of the domain and hosting industry is advantageous.Personal Attributes and Key CompetenciesAnalytical skills with the ability to interpret and present findings effectively.Self-starter, comfortable working autonomously at pace.Adaptable to transforming environments.Organized and detail-oriented.Strategic thinker, entrepreneurial, and self-driven.Inspirational servant-leadership style.Strong facilitation and group problem-solving skills."Come as you are"Everyone is welcome here.
