About the position
You will play a central role in developing subsystem architectures, including system-level documentation. You will act as a link between systems engineering and hardware design teams to ensure compliance with overall system requirements and subsystem functionality.
The main tasks include:
* Developing subsystem architectures, such as subsystem breakdowns and evaluating implementation options for Tx and Rx signal chains.
* Coordinating technical solutions with various teams and assessing technical risks.
* Defining requirements for subsystem elements like ADC modules and FPGA controllers, ensuring compliance with standards.
* Reviewing and approving subsystem designs to support design processes.
* Aligning solutions with platform roadmaps for future reuse.
* Collaborating with customers on requirements and design reviews.
* Executing integration tests and verification on subsystem level in modern lab facilities.
About you
You thrive in a dynamic, project-driven environment, working independently and collaboratively. You embrace continuous learning and can handle multiple R&D activities, some requiring immediate focus and others structured within project plans.
Your CV should include:
* University degree in electrical engineering, physics, or similar, preferably with specialization in digital hardware engineering for RF/MW applications.
* An analytical mindset and ability to analyze complex challenges while maintaining a holistic view.
* Experience in designing digital or mixed-signal circuitry from concept through schematics to layout and verification.
* Skills in hardware system characterization, modeling, and scenario simulations.
* Understanding of regulatory requirements for radio, safety, and EMC.
* Experience with systems or concept engineering methodologies such as MBSE, SysML, UML is advantageous.
