Job Responsibilities:
1. Managed and coordinated the company's international logistics transportation, including cargo transportation, warehousing, customs clearance and distribution, adhering to German automotive standards such as VDA 6.8 and ODETTE EDI protocols.
2. Ensure timely and efficient delivery of products and materials, with specialized solutions for special categories (e.g., lithium batteries, precision components) compliant with UN38.3 and ISTA 3A standards.
3. Develop and implement logistics plans to balance efficiency and economy, optimizing costs through local supplier resources and Incoterms (DAP/FCA) rational selection.
4. Manage and coordinate logistics suppliers, verifying their VDA 6.3 qualification and maintaining cooperative relations with local service providers.
5. Control logistics budget to ensure cost-effectiveness of all logistics activities.
6. Follow up logistics processes, resolve issues promptly, and continuously improve activities based on VDA 6.8 audit results.
7. Monitor EU/ German regulations (ECE, REACH, KBA) and customs policies to ensure full compliance of logistics activities.
8. Maintain close communication with headquarters supply chain team and local distributors, supporting JIT delivery requirements and business objectives.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor degree or above, major in Logistics Management, International Trade is preferred.
2. Familiar with German import customs clearance (Hamburg/Bremerhaven ports), EU/ German import and export laws, and automotive-related compliance requirements (ECE, REACH).
3. Over 5 years of international logistics experience in automotive industry, with local supplier resources in Germany; proficient in VDA 6.8 and ODETTE EDI systems is a plus.
4. Good communication skills in English and German; Chinese proficiency is a plus.
5. Experience in handling special cargo transportation (lithium batteries, precision parts) and holding EU EORI operation experience is advantageous.
