Your Responsibilities:
7. Design, implement and test high-performance C++ applications and libraries (C++17 or later)
8. Develop and maintain cross-platform software solutions compatible with both Unix and Windows environments
9. Utilise CMake to manage build systems and streamline development workflows
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and integrate components
11. Contribute to the development of simulation tools and frameworks where applicable
12. Implement and integrate gRPC-based communication between distributed services
13. Participate in system architecture discussions and apply sound software design principles
14. Stay current with emerging technologies, including AI/ML integration and model-based control patterns (MCP)
15. Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code and conduct peer code reviews
Your Profile:
16. Completed studies in computer science, software engineering, a related technical field or a comparable qualification
17. Experience in simulation development (e.g., physics engines, real-time systems, numerical modeling)
18. Solid understanding of systems architecture and software design principles (e.g. modularity, scalability, performance optimisation)
19. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and debugging tools
20. Solid experience in simulation or AI is a plus
21. Knowledge of multi-threading, networking, and low-latency system design
22. Familiarity with gRPC and protocol buffers for service-to-service communication
23. Strong proficiency in C++, with practical experience using features from C++17 or newer standards
24. Working knowledge of CMake for building and managing C++ projects
25. Demonstrated experience developing software in both Unix/Linux and Windows environments should be present
26. Fluent English skills both spoken and written
27. German knowledge is desirable
