Our hotel, restaurant and café „Seeterrassen“ in Laboe awaits you right on the Kiel Fjord. Our guests enjoy the marvellous view of the seascape with international shipping traffic, sailing regattas as well as windsurfers and kitesurfers. We offer our guests a wide variety of food and drinks both regional cuisine as well as a seasonally adjusted selection of meals.
To ensure our guests have an enjoyable time, we are looking for a
Waiter/waitress (m/f/d) Your responsibilities will include
Providing courteous, warm and knowledgeable advice and service to our guests
Either working as full waiter/waitress (recommending dishes and drinks to our guests, taking their orders, serving food and drinks, handling payments, clearing tables, etc.) – this requires solid German language skills (B2) and a quick grasp on our menu and service processes
Alternatively working as waiter/waitress assistant (supporting our waiters/waitresses with serving food and drinks to our guests, clearing tables, etc.) – this requires German language skills (B1)
Maintaining workplace hygiene and adhering to our standards
Your profile
You are a natural host or hostess – a courteous manner and a well-groomed appearance come naturally to you
You have professional experience or are a motivated career changer
You are friendly, flexible and willing to go the extra mile
We offer
A friendly team under family management
We are very flexible and offer roles ranging from full-time (40 hours a week) to part-time (30 hours a week)
The main working period is from early July to late September; employment is available from May onwards and until the end of October
Ideally, you are interested in a long-term partnership
If required, we can provide a one-bedroom flat (right on the beach) as accommodation for a reduced fee.
