Job Title: Enterprise CMDB Architect
As a senior architect, you will play a key role in designing and implementing the enterprise configuration management database (CMDB). You will be responsible for integrating the CMDB with IT service management (ITSM) to ensure seamless interoperability and integration with other components.
* Design and implement CMDB solutions using industry-leading best practices and features.
* Manage integration between CMDB and ITSM, as well as further automating the integration with DevOps tooling.
* Manage upgrades, patches, and updates for CMDB systems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
* Address security vulnerabilities and implement best practices for securing CMDB environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical expertise for CMDB-related projects.
* Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, architectural diagrams, and operational procedures.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to CMDB, ITSM, and DevOps automation.
* Identify, analyze, design, implement, and test enhancements or bug fixes to the current systems management infrastructure to meet changing requirements and increase productivity.
You will have exposure to DevOps and Infrastructure as Code, Containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud hyperscalers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Experience with relational database management system (RDBMS) products like Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server is also required.
